Description

Your alarm does its job. It also wakes everyone else.

Hushwake is a silent alarm you wear on your wrist. Instead of filling the room with sound, it wakes you with a firm vibration that builds in strength until you switch it off. You get up. The person next to you sleeps straight through it.

There is no app and no phone needed. You set the alarm on the band itself before bed, and that is the whole setup. Which means your phone can stay out of the bedroom entirely.

The battery lasts around two weeks on a one-hour charge, so there is no nightly charging ritual and no waking up to a flat device. The module slides out of the strap and plugs straight into any USB port, no cable required.

Built for people who have to be up before the rest of the house. Shift workers and early starts. Heavy sleepers who have tried six alarms. New parents protecting a nap. Anyone sharing a bed with someone on a different schedule.

Worn all night, so it is built for it. Soft silicone strap, secure buckle that stays fastened, and a low profile you stop noticing after the first night.

Why Customers Love it

  • ★★★★★

"I'm up at half four for site and my alarm woke Emma every single morning. It had genuinely become a thing between us. Three weeks in and she's slept through every one of them."

    Gary M.

  • ★★★★★

"I was setting six alarms and still sleeping through half of them. The buzzing gets stronger until you actually deal with it, which is the bit that works for me. Still keep my phone alarm as a backup, but I haven't needed it."

    Harry T.

  • ★★★★★

"Nights on the ward mean I'm sleeping at odd hours in a shared flat. Being able to wake up without setting off an alarm at 2pm has made me a lot less of a nightmare to live with."

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

Will it actually wake me? I sleep through everything.

Most people find vibration harder to ignore than sound, because your body registers it as physical contact rather than background noise your brain can filter out. Hushwake starts gentle and builds in strength until you switch it off, so it does not stop after a few seconds the way a single buzz would.

We will be straight with you though. If you have slept through every alarm you have ever owned, keep your usual alarm as a backup for the first three or four nights while you adjust to waking this way. Most people stop needing it after the first week. If it does not work for you, send it back within 100 nights for a full refund.

My Apple Watch already has a silent alarm. Why buy this?

Three reasons. The vibration is stronger and it escalates, where a smartwatch haptic is deliberately subtle. The battery lasts around two weeks rather than needing a charge every day or two, so there is no risk of a flat watch on the morning you cannot afford to oversleep. And it works with no phone in the room at all, no app, no sleep schedule set up, no pairing.

If your watch already wakes you reliably, you do not need this. Plenty of people find it does not.

Will my partner feel it or hear it?

No. There is no sound at all, and the vibration is contained to your wrist. Your partner will not feel it through the mattress the way a bed shaker or a buzzing phone on a nightstand travels.

Is it comfortable to sleep in?

The strap is soft silicone with a low-profile module, and it sits flat against your wrist. Most people say they stop noticing it after the first night or two. Wear it slightly looser than you would a watch during the day.

How do I set the alarm?

On the band itself, using the button on the module. No app, no phone, no Bluetooth pairing, no account. Set it before bed and that is the whole process.

How long does the battery last?

Around two weeks on a one-hour charge. To charge it, slide the module out of the strap and plug it straight into any USB port. No cable needed.

Will it fit my wrist?

The strap adjusts across the standard adult range and stays fastened overnight.

Is it waterproof?

It handles sweat and splashes. Do not shower, swim or bathe with it, and take it off before doing so. Water damage is not covered by the warranty.

What if it does not work for me?

Send it back within 100 nights for a full refund. We cover return postage. You do not need to explain why.

Wife hasn't been woken by my alarm once since it arrived. Should have bought one years ago.

Up at 5 for the airport run and the house stays asleep. That's the whole thing really.

Been on nights for six years and this is the first alarm that hasn't made me the most hated person in the flat.

Buzz is stronger than I expected. Doesn't stop until you actually turn it off, which is the point.

Phone lives in the kitchen now. Sleeping better for it.

Bought it for my son who was late to work twice in a month. No complaints from him or his housemates since.
